Cobolt was Veronica's beautiful, high-spirited thoroughbred  staltion and Carole would do anything just to excerise him. Carole loved Cobolt a lot and when he had to be put down she was devestated and almost quit riding. Veronica only owned the expensive horse because her parents thought it was best to have the most expensive beautiful horse instead of the best horse for Veronica to ride and she doesn't even know how to look after him properly.
Thoroughbreds are one of Australia's most popular horses and one of the Australian greats, Phar Lap, was a Thoroughbred. They are roughly 14 to 17 hands and the best place to find them would be the "races" because these are only open to Thoroughbreds.
