 Barq is a high spirited white gelding, Pine Hollow school horse and every Pine Hollow rider has riden him at one time or another though Kristi rides him in lessons. In horse terms 'white' horses are really called 'greys' but then again, not everything makes sense! There are lot's of different types of 'grey' or 'white' horses like Albino, Cream, Daple, Steel/Iron Flea Bitten, Grey.
Grey horses are very popular in shows because its hard to tell whether their coat is shiny or not.
In Australia we also have to keep regular checks on grey horses because it is very easy for them to obtain skin cancer.
